Volunteers, get ready!

On February, 7 volunteers of SMSUH with 25 Russian Olympic Volunteer Centres gave the go-ahead to start of the official recruitment of youth for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Sochi 2014.  

Volunteers of SMSUH celebrated in a big way the beginning of registration of candidates for Olympics in Old Arbat Street and in the Sokolniki Park.

Volunteers suggested to Arbat pedestrians take part in the action "Hug a volunteer," warm up on the physical exercises and even today " leave your mark" on the history of the Olympic Games. Especially on this day it’s very easy to do it: you wear gloves, dipping your hand into the paint of favorite colour and leave an imprint on the giant letters «VOLUNTEER».

Someone stops on this stage, and someone will register on the site, will be interviewed and trained in volunteer centre and will go with us to the Olympic Sochi in 2014, to take part in the organization of the Games.

At the same time second team of volunteers of SMSUH was involved in a big celebration of all Moscow Olympic volunteer centres in the Sokolniki Park .

We decided to gladden our friends-volunteers and made this day not only memorable, but bright and sweet. For the bravest ones, Sholokhov volunteers prepared an aerogrim, for the hungry ones they cooked macaroons in the shape of men. Refreshments weren’t simple, of course. Sochi Volunteers were suggested "dress a volunteer," paint the edible figure, brought to life a version of the volunteer uniform. Sure, we all know how a real volunteer of Sochi 2014 looks!
